What To Expect
Live Oak Home Builders believes that your wants and needs are important. We don’t just build your custom home, we build with you beginning to end, listening to your suggestions, answering your questions, and making your dream home a reality. We are here for you every step of the way and at no extra cost and with no hidden customization fees!
Here is what to expect when choosing a Live Oak Home:
First, you will meet directly with our owner, Justin White, for a consultation to discuss your wants and needs for your new home. Justin will advise and answer all of your questions during your consultation; Finance options, budget, land choices and floor plan selections will also be discussed at this time.
Now that you have decided to move forward on building your new home, you may need assistance in selecting a financial institution. If you do not have an institution you are already working with, we can assist you. Live Oak works closely with many lenders in the area and can recommend the best choice for your needs. We work with lending partners that provide up to 100% construction financing!
Next, we discuss the design process. Whether you choose one of our Live Oak home designs or find that a fully customized home is what you prefer, together we will decide which option is best for you. While all of our homes come standard with premium features such as, true wood construction cabinets with soft-close drawers, granite kitchen countertops, stainless steel appliances, vinyl plank flooring, and more you can still choose between different options. If there are any special customizations or modifications you would like to consider we can incorporate those changes into your new home as well. .
Once that is completed, we start to build your new home! Live Oak begins the process by applying for all required building permits. Each state and county’s process and requirements are different. Once the county has issued the required permits, we start the building process. During home construction, we will do a walk through during each key stage of the home building.
Once your new home is completed, your project manager will call for a final inspection to ensure that all finished work has been completed and meets all local, county, and state building codes. Once your new home passes all required inspections, your house is move-in ready!
