Justin White

President and Owner

A second-generation builder and lifelong resident of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Justin White grew up on job sites, learning the values of hard work, craftsmanship, and integrity from his father. This early exposure ignited a passion for building exceptional homes, leading him to found Live Oak Home Builders.

For Justin, the best part of his job is building lasting relationships with clients. “Having someone choose us to build their home is both an honor and a privilege. It is our responsibility as a company to foster that relationship well, to do right by each client, and to uphold the highest standards at every phase of the process,” he says.

When Justin isn’t overseeing projects, he enjoys spending time on the water, fishing, and making memories with his wife, Anna, and their two children, Jase and Savannah.

Walt Bennett

Field Superintendent

With over 30 years of construction experience, Walt Bennett has worked on both residential and commercial builds, making him a valuable asset to the Live Oak team. His wealth of knowledge and hands-on approach help make the home-building process a smooth and enjoyable experience for every client.

Walt’s commitment to precision and efficiency ensures that each project runs seamlessly. His problem-solving skills and deep understanding of construction techniques make him an essential part of the team.

Outside of work, Walt enjoys spending time with family and close friends, embracing the coastal lifestyle.

Daniel Richardson

Operations Manager

A Delaware Technical Community College graduate and Eastern Shore native, Daniel Richardson brings over 15 years of construction experience to Live Oak Home Builders. Since joining the team in 2019, he has played a crucial role in ensuring that every home is built to the highest quality standards.

Daniel’s attention to detail and exceptional work ethic set him apart as a leader in the field. He takes pride in managing projects efficiently and effectively, ensuring that every custom home and renovation meets Live Oak’s high standards of craftsmanship.

When he’s not on the job site, Daniel enjoys fishing and spending time at the beach, making the most of life on the Eastern Shore.

Scott Fisher

Field Superintendent

Scott Fisher joined Live Oak Home Builders in 2023, bringing with him over 28 years of construction experience. Since joining the team, he has quickly made an impact, showcasing exceptional project management skills and a dedication to delivering high-quality results.

Scott plays a key role in overseeing job sites, coordinating teams, and ensuring each build stays on schedule and meets the highest standards. His strong leadership and eye for detail ensure that every home we build reflects Live Oak’s reputation for excellence and innovation.

When he’s not managing projects, Scott enjoys spending time with family, relaxing on the beach, and playing golf.

Astrid Schiavone

Office Manager

Since joining Live Oak Home Builders in 2019, Astrid has been instrumental in shaping the company’s financial strategy and long-term success. With over 13 years of customer service experience and a keen eye for detail and organization, she quickly rose to the position of Office Manager.

As Manager, Astrid provides strategic leadership for financial operations, overseeing payroll, financial reporting, project accounting, and capital management. She has been pivotal in developing financial systems that allow Live Oak to remain a market leader in coastal home construction.

Her leadership style is built on transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring that the company remains financially strong and positioned for growth.

Outside of work, Astrid enjoys spending time with her husband, Trevor, and their son, Dominic, creating cherished family memories.
